- Submit an Application
- Your application is reviewed by the N&E Committee. You will be informed directly of the result.
- Pre-slated candidates may begin campaigning at the start of Convention Friday, November 14th.
- Candidates running from the floor may begin campaigning after their application is approved and their name is added to the slate.
- All candidates attend the Saturday, November 15th, Mandatory Candidate Briefing at 12:30pm.
- CNSA VP, Brooke Skiera, will explain the next steps and answer any questions you may have about the election process, HOD, and nominations.
- Saturday Parliamentary Briefing session will explain how the House of Delegates will operate.
- In the House of Delegates, the chair will call for nominations from the floor. All candidates running from the floor must be nominated by a member during this time.
- Nomination Script: "Madame President, I nominate _____ from _____ for the office of _____. She/He/They have consented to serve."
- All candidates will be assigned a 1 min slot to give a speech during the House of Delegates (Candidates running for the office of President will have 2 mins to speak). A short Q&A will follow, time permitting.
- At the close of the House of Delegates meeting on Saturday, instruction will be given on how to access electronic ballets.
- The election be conducted using electronic balloting software. All delegates will have a 12 hour window to vote online. If a majority vote is not reached a second ballot may be sent during the Sunday House of Delegates.
- All elected board members are required to stay after convention for a Board Meeting and business lunch.
